Rhiannon Brey-Psychiatric Niurse Practitioner
(she, her, hers)
Hello! I’m Rhiannon, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My interest in mental health began many years ago while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the years since, I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University and spent more than a decade working in critical care and special procedure departments. I received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado with a specialization in psychiatry and mental health.
My nursing career brought me the good fortune of traveling for work; I have lived in all four corners of the US (and in the middle, too!) and have enjoyed meeting and working with individuals of diverse backgrounds. As a nurse practitioner, curiosity and respect drive my practice; I join each person’s journey toward mental wellness with a collaborative treatment approach, taking time to “zoom out” and view symptoms through a holistic lens. I work closely with all my clients to make thoughtful, evidence-based, and safe decisions regarding treatment plans. If you suffer from mood, anxiety, bipolar, attention, or trauma-related disorders or other mental health concerns, I would love the opportunity to join your team and support you through diagnosis and medication management.
Outside of my nurse practitioner role, I love to ride my mountain bike, ice climb, care for plants, and fail spectacularly at cooking.
