Hi there! I’m Megan, a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings over the years, first as a CNA/MA, then RN, and now NP. I have shifted my focus in recent years from medical to mental health care. It is my passion to understand and address the psycho-social aspects of patients’ lives in order to assist them in achieving better health overall: both physical and mental. I have extensive experience working with adolescents in acute mental health crises in an inpatient setting.

I have a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Dakota, a B.S. in Nursing from Metropolitan State University, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Regis University. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Colorado.

I am here to help you or your adolescent child understand mental health diagnoses in order to make decisions about and manage psychiatric medications. I have experience treating kids, adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar and other mood disorders, ADHD, OCD, and other mental health conditions. I am committed to fostering a safe and affirming environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community and gender non-confirming folks.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, comedy shows, live music, and international travel.
