Meagan [pronounced May-gan] here! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, driven by a lifelong passion for supporting mental well-being.
My journey began at Denver College of Nursing, where I earned my BSN. Eager to dive into the world of psychiatry, I spent over 6 years as a Mental Health Registered Nurse. Those years were invaluable, giving me experience in diverse settings like outpatient, inpatient, detox, and crisis care.
Mental health has always held a special place in my heart. Naturally, I pursued my Master's degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Regis College. My commitment to learning doesn't stop there – I'm constantly seeking new ways to expand my knowledge and better serve my patients.
Fueled by my own experiences with mental health needs, my passion for this field continues to grow. I believe in building respectful, collaborative relationships where we can explore the right treatment options to guide you on your path to wellness.
I have experience treating a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and psychosis.
When I'm not helping patients, I cherish spending time with my family. We love exploring the outdoors, movie nights, culinary adventures, and getting active with all kinds of sports. My personal downtime is filled with books, poetry writing, and nurturing my garden. In a nutshell, my happy places involve family, nature, animals, delicious food, and a good dose of competition!
